2009 - Anything Goes

Along with the timeless music of Cole Porter, this romantic comedy features mistaken identities, turn-about-tricks, and high jinks on the high seas to entertain audiences of all ages. A touch of 1930’s nostalgia is highlighted in such classic songs as “I Get a Kick Out of You,” “You’re the Top,” and, of course, “Anything Goes.”

2008 - The Music Man

Confidence man Harold Hill comes to River City, Iowa, to talk the citizens into buying musical instruments and uniforms for a boys’ band, though Hill doesn’t know a trombone from a timpani. He intends to collect the money and skip town with the cash. His plans are foiled when he meets and falls in love with Marian the Librarian, who transforms him into a respectable and responsible citizen by the close of the play.

2007 - The King and I

East meets West with dignity in this musical play based on a true story. In the 1860s, the King of Siam hires an English woman, Anna Leonowens, to teach his children and help bring his country Western culture. After a series of misunderstandings and crises, the King and Anna develop a mutual respect for each other and each other’s cultures in a sensitive portrayal that avoids clichés.

The Tustin Area Council for Fine Arts, in association with LimonCarr Productions, presents a lush staging of this Rodgers and Hammerstein musical classic as its 7th annual Broadway in the Park fare. Audience members will enjoy such song favorites as “Hello, Young Lovers” and “Getting to Know You.” This is fun family entertainment with pre-play activities for children and picnicking on the grass.

2006 - Oklahoma!

The show is set in the Indian territory at the turn of the century when cattlemen and farmers were fighting over fences and water rights. In the middle of that controversy are two more rivalries. One between a cowboy called Curley and a hired hand named Jud, both in love with Laurey. The second involves Ado Annie, Will and Ali Hakim, a trio that will provide plenty of laughs.

2005 - Fiddler on the Roof

Fiddler on the Roof is set in the small Jewish village of Anatevka, Russia, in 1905 and is concerned primarily with the efforts of Tevye, a dairyman, his wife, Golde, and their five daughers to cope with their harsh existence under Tsarist rule.
